Most part of Jordan is a desert, especially Wadi Rum, what looks like a place on the Mars. This painting shows the desire of the local bedouins, who live hard life there and would be happy to see green lands everywhere to feed their animals. Israel shows good examples to turn deserts to fruit lands.
